A coffee shop that serves specialty coffee we stumbled at Nakatsugawa. Just 10mins walk from the station. If youre transiting to go to Magome, dont miss the chance of really good coffee. The prices are reasonable compared to other specialty coffee shop you find in bigger cities. They have various selection of coffee to choose from. The barista also gave very good recommendations for our choice of drink. I also bought a bag of coffee cause cant resist that price! Also the external aethetics of the cafe is jaw dropping. As if its from another era. But once you go inside, they have a modern minimalistic design. Will come back again :)

After completing the Nakasendo trail from Magome to Nakatsugawa, I accidentally discovered Riverbed Coffee —a true gem. The café's warm and cozy atmosphere, enhanced by gentle jazz music, provided the perfect setting to unwind after the walk. The staff were welcoming and kind. I tried their Charcoal Latte with Oat milk and it was exceptionally good! The interior is beautiful with a lot of charm. Will definitely come back if I'm around again!

The barista can speak English and was really helpful at recommending a drink. The prices are little more expensive than other coffee shops I’ve been to in this town.

Excellent for a coffee and snack while the other restaurants as re under preparation. We wandered in at 3:00 pm, when restaurants here are traditionally closed to prepare for dinner. The coffee was excellent, as was the sparkling lemonade. Macha cookies added a sweet bite. I recommend a stop here if you stay in...
