We loved how local this place was. The place was full of local people who seemed to know each other. The menu was in Japanese (no translated menu) and we needed our Japanese host to help make reservations for this place. We learnt from the locals shared with us how to say thank you in their local slang (โniffee debiruโ instead of "arigatou").

The food is amazing and the staff are super friendly and kind, despite the language barrier (I have 0 Japanese and they have very little English). I would say if you can't speak Japanese and are fussy with food then give this a miss, as we just pointed to random menu items 1,000+ jpy.

I speak Japanese and I kindly ask to get a table but the owner didnโt even look at us and kicked us out. A younger waiter tried to explain in english that we needed reservation but a random guy entered before us and got a table....
