Kairikiya Nara Kitanosho — Restaurant in Nara

First time eating here and thought it was quite good. The restaurant was pretty busy (stopped by around 6pm). The prices here are very reasonable - good value for what you order (wallet friendly).

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere to it. The staff are very friendly and the service was prompt and efficient.

The restaurant serves miso and shoyu (soy sauce) ramen. The soup base was good, but I wish it was a bit thicker. The noodles were thin and boiled perfectly. The toppings were nice, especially the chashu (it was thinly sliced and tender). The spicy miso was good. I also ordered gyoza, which were delicious. There are side dishes available here: fried rice, fried chicken, etc.

Each booth/table has fresh garlic, green onions (negi) and sauces available.

The restaurant has Covid safety measures in place - plastic partitions and hand sanitizer at each booth/table.

They have a good takeout menu available and offer seasonal specials. There is ample parking available.

12時過ぎにお店到着。 めっちゃ元気な女性店員さんがお出迎え。 満席です。 スゲーな、平日でも満席になるんや。 ウェイテングボードに名前を書いて、無料のお茶を飲みながら、待ちますよ。

待ってる間に、別のお2人様、その後にお3人様が入店して、ウェイテングスペースがいっぱいになります。

女性店員さんがウェイテングボードとウェイテングスペースの人数を確認して、待たれている人にお声がけ。

｢お客様何名様ですか？2名様？お名前書いて頂いてます？書かれない？書いておきますね？｣

と、書いて下さいと言わないのが流石やなぁと見ていると、｢後の3名様、こちらの2名様の方が早く入店されましたので、先にご案内させて頂きますね！｣と爽やかに一言。

この女性店員さん、スゲーな。 どのお客さんがどの順番で入ってきたのかを、ちゃんと見ていて、俺が先に入った問題が起こる前に解決しはった。

注文は ・焼きめし定食 特製醤油ラーメン 850円 ラーメンのお好みは、麺かため、背脂多め。

先に食べ放題、入れ放題なたくあんとネギがセットされます。
