カフェテラス クレヨン — Restaurant in Narusawa

一見すると一軒家のような佇まいで、店名のサインや入口脇の『WELCOME』のサインがあっても入店を躊躇ってしまうかもしれません。勿論誰でも気軽に立ち寄ることが出来、内装も一軒家の雰囲気のままにカフェに改装したかのような感じですが、その分シンプルな造りで心地よく、落ち着いた雰囲気を醸し出しています。 空気が澄んだ晴れの日限定となりますが、このカフェから富士山の雄大な姿を見ることが出来ます。むしろ、上述のように一見するとカフェなのか判別しづらい外観だからこそ多くの旅行客が気軽に立ち寄りづらいと感じてしまい、それが富士山の雄大な姿を独り占め出来るのでは、と考えます（事実、私が利用した際も私以外に客は居ませんでした）。 老齢の女性が1人で切り盛りしているため、注文・給仕・会計のいずれのサービスも時間を要します。しかしとても自然で物腰も柔らかな接客対応であるため、ゆったりと時間の経過を忘れて過ごすのであれば丁度いいのかもしれません。 提供される料理は、山梨名物の『ほうとう』を始め、カレーやスパゲティなど、典型的なカフェ飯となっています。盛り付け・味付けも奇を衒ったものではなく、このカフェならではの特徴といったものは見当たりません。料理そのものを楽しむ、というより、鳴沢のドライブやハイキングの過程で、雄大な富士山を見ながら休憩、という目的で利用した方がいいかもしれません。 出入口が階段状となっていること、扉も手動の開閉式となっていることから、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方の利用はお勧めできません。

At first glance, this cafe looks just like a private house. Even with a sign of the cafe and a “WELCOME” sign at the entrance, you might hesitate to go in. Of course, anyone is welcome, and the interior feels like a home converted into a café. The design is simple yet cozy, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. On clear and sunny days, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Mt.Fuji directly from the cafe. In fact, because the building doesn’t obviously look like a cafe, many travelers may hesitate to stop by. This means you might get the chance to have the breathtaking view of Mt.Fuji all to yourself. (When I visited, there were no other customers besides me.) The cafe is run entirely by an elderly woman, so ordering, serving, and payment all take some time. However, her service is warm, gentle, and natural, making this place a perfect spot if you want to relax and forget about time. The dishes served here include typical cafe dishes such as Yamanashi's local specialty Hoto (a hearty noodle stew), curry, and spaghetti. The flavors and presentation are straightforward rather than unique, so the main highlight is not necessarily the dish itself. Instead, this cafe is best enjoyed as a rest stop during a drive or hike around Narusawa, where you can admire the majestic Mt.Fuji while having a simple meal. Worst local restaurant ever!!!! Trust me everything was prepared and made from an instant food bag except rice and pasta and salads which we only cash excepted and still got charged for 10% taxes?! Wth? Do not come to this restaurant!! It’s overpriced...
