Narusawa lava tree mold — Attraction in Narusawa

There really isn’t that much to see. It’s really cool how these formed - essentially trees burned by lava and leaving an impression in the ground where they once were, but when you go look at them they just look like big holes in the ground. There is pretty woods around these and it is relatively well signed but I wouldn’t go out of your way to come see this. It’s just off a main road so if it’s on your way somewhere and you have time to kill maybe stop but otherwise...

Treat it as a short walk through the woods. The holes are okay but once you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all . Also you have to retrace your route after 9 as number 10 is on private property. Not suitable for...
