Great family restaurant dining experience. Stopped in for an afternoon snack and was pleased to see so many choices on the light meal/dessert section of the menu. Opted for a strawberry parfait because who doesn’t love a parfait? The strawberries were positively glistening atop the mild and luscious whipped cream. Every layer of the parfait was a new taste experience, but I have to admit that I did mix them up quite a bit. The custard was rich and flavorful, perfectly contrasted by the crispy cornflakes. As I dipped deeper, the mixed berries and strawberry jelly at the very bottom were an excellent finish for the entire treat. At this price point (¥890 with tax included), I’d say you’d be hard pressed to find another treat this satisfying. At paired with a free refill drink bar, you could spend a lot of the day slowly snacking and catching up with friends. There are tables specifically designated for longer stays and for parties of 2+ people to help with crowd management and table turn over. The entire restaurant is usually busy around lunchtime, so if you want some quiet and fewer families/children, then I recommend either 1-2 before or after peak meal times. The addition of the serving robot was cute and always entertains the children (and more than a few adults, too), a fun customer service that both highlights the restaurant chain’s commitment to customer satisfaction and their forward technological thinking. The backbone of the restaurant, however, is still human staff. I was served by a very kind young woman and greeted with a smile. The payment system is now fully automated, so paying your bill is easier than ever.
