ASCENT NISEKO restaurant & bar — Restaurant in Niseko

A hidden gem! Family run, super cute, and very tasty. We were a little hesitant to try western food in the area after a pretty gross experience at a nearby restaurant that serves a western buffet and somehow has very high reviews. Ascent was wonderful though. Maybe I would call it more or a Japanese take on western food? If you have some very non adventurous eaters in your group they would still enjoy basically anything on the menu, but this is definitely not bland western food. The Taco rice was delicious, the karaage was generous and wonderful, I would love to explore more of the menu.

Love the hospitality of this place. This is my first trip to niseko and finding a place to eat and coordinating the bus timing and Taxis were full booked.. was a real headache for me. Owner offers us a ride back to the hotel which was not far away. Really appreciate it so we do not need to walked and wait at the bus stop in the cold.

Fantastic little restaurant just down the street from niseko village! Reasonable prices, huge portions, and great food. We called the day of and asked if they could accommodate us. Not only did they work out a time, they even came to pick us up and dropped us back off at the Hilton after. I can't recommend this...
