Niseko Takahashi Dairy Farm Restaurant PRATIVO — Restaurant in Niseko

I went there for their lunch buffet on 14 Dec with my family. We were given a table for 4 in the middle of the restaurant. As we were about to sit down, we saw an empty table meant for 4 people by the window. We ask this waiter wearing spectacles if we could move to that table. He gave us a stern look with his finger pointing at us n said " No! You sit here!"

I never expect such a comment coming from a service staff, moreover a Japanese! We were all shock and angry with his rude gesture! There is no reservation available for their lunch so I'm sure that table is definitely not taken.

Despite this unhappy saga, we stayed on for the lunch... food was ok. The buffet spread was quite reasonable but Salmon main course was of a pathetic size.

Btw, we did feedback to the senior staff while billing and he apologised on his behalf and told us the name of the rude waiter is Katayama.

I went there on a weekday in February. It was cloudy and snowing, but if it had been sunny, we might have been able to see Mt. Yotei.

This restaurant uses ingredients from Hokkaido! My favorite local food. Japan has local ingredients in almost every region. I love that. I ordered the lunch course here. The drink bar had a yogurt drink made at a nearby farm. It was a delicious drink with a very rich and deep flavor. The salad had colorful vegetables under the lettuce, so it wasn't very visually appealing but it was good taste. The scallop and bottarga pasta was delicious.

Do you like nice view? Do you like wide space? Do you want to spand that time outside with your friends? No mistake, come here. Great view from restaurant. It is ~1500yen buffet per person. You can choose between 2 type of pasta, 2 type of stews, and unlimited vegetable buffet. Some cold and hot dishes, 2 type of sweets and juice&coffee. If you want to enjoy the view and don't care about 5stars service&menu this is a place for you. For that amout of money, no way that you can get this all dishes here in Niseko area.
