Great place to stay in Niseko, especially for a big family. On the 1st floor, there's livingroom and kitchen with an open concept that can easily accomodate 15 people. It also has massive windows all around, allowing natural light to comes in and no obstruction of the beautiful mountain view. The kitchen is fully equiped with 2 stovetops, 2 dishwashers, 2 big fridges, complete utensils, pans/pots, and glassware. Then, there's a huge laundry/mudroom as well. Bedrooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floor with bathroom (toilet, tub, shower, sink) in every rooms, allowing full privacy. We took ski lesson with Andrew, who is also managing the property. He is such a friendly guy and fully accomodate our needs during our stay. You can rent the ski gears and outer wear through him, eliminating the stress of finding a ski rental place in the city. Yes, you can rent the gear in the ski area, however, during our stay, Annapuri and Grand Hirafu didn't provide any helmet, gloves, or snow gogles. The property location is great but can be a little bit tricky as it is 9 minutes drive to the city and ski area. So renting a car is probably the best idea, although the property provides a shuttle service as well (check the rate with the property). I wouldn't recommend taking a bus as it is quite unreliable. We will definitely stay here again in the future. I totally recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the quietness and relaxing atmosphere without being too far from the city are.

I recently had the pleasure of spending 5 days at Hakobune Resort in Niseko, and it was an unforgettable experience. It was my second time staying at this amazing place. From the moment I arrived, Andrew and Mag, made me feel right at home with their warm, friendly hospitality. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring every guest has a memorable stay is truly remarkable. The view from the resort is absolutely breathtaking — each morning I woke up to a stunning panorama of snow-covered mountains and pristine landscapes. It was the perfect setting for a winter getaway. The food was another highlight of my stay. Every meal was a delicious experience, with fresh, local ingredients and flavors that truly showcased the region. What stood out the most, however, was the genuine care and kindness shown by Andrew, Mag, and the entire staff. They went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met, from providing recommendations for activities to offering a personal touch that made us feel like part of their family. In summary, my 5-day stay at Hakobune Resort was an absolute dream. The combination of amazing views, incredible food, and a team of staff who truly care made for a perfect winter ski retreat. I can’t wait to return!

The best experience ever! The home is beautifully designed. There were nice touches like snowboard/ski racks in the garage, a drying room for all of your snow gear, two laundry machines and dryers, two dishwashers, heated floors, etc. A large open kitchen and living area for family & friends to gather in. We would wake up to beautiful views of the mountains. We were so comfortable and felt right at home! In addition, the service was more than exceptional. Andrew made sure our trip had everything we needed and more! I couldn’t have asked for a better rest & relaxation experience. Would definitely come back again and again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well kept cozy hideaway in rural Niseko, Hokkaido. The high comfort factor combined with easy access to fine local restaurants, well serviced onsens and wonderful Alpine views meant that not a moment was wasted, even when the weather turned unexpectedly. Thankfully we were able to experience one of the many spectacular Alpine treks before the clouds set in which actually added to the mystique. We're so looking forward to a follow up stay during winter where the trekking will be replaced with Alpine skiing after which we will be able to return to a waiting log fire. Our amazing weekend could only be equaled by the amazing service of the staff at Hakobune who were courteous, cheerful and proactive in ensuring our weekend accommodation would be well beyond our...
