This restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. But, it is immediately ruined by the constant yelling from the host as he is ordering staff to prepare table for the next guests.

The staff was inattentive, meaning lots of time with empty plates sitting around after the meal is finished. There was also no checking with the guests to ask if everything is okay, or if dishes can be removed.

The menu does not match the oceanside theme of the restaurant. They call it an Italian restaurant, and that’s where it seems to go wrong. Judging from the menu, this restaurant doesn’t know what it wants to be. I could not find one dish on the menu that made me excited or curious. The taste of the food is average at best.

Most people probably don’t go to this restaurant for the menu. It’s cute and cool, and most definitely form over function. I would suggest a California, Mediterranean and fusion-style menu.

Finally, there is simply no excuse for not having an English-language menu, or having English subtitles for the menu items.

A Breathtaking Waterfront Gem with Incredible Food and Service! We stumbled upon Coral Kitchen at Cove while exploring the Nishinomiya marina, and what an amazing discovery it was! My family, including my two boys (ages 7 and 9), were immediately drawn to the cozy, rustic charm of the restaurant. We decided to sit on the terrace, soaking in the perfectly relaxed atmosphere and the stunning marina views. The menu was a delight, offering a wide array of pizzas and pasta that had our boys jumping for joy. We ordered a feast: a classic Margherita with plenty of mozzarella, the unbelievably "addictive" edamame, a rich tomato pasta with fried eggplant, a savory shrimp and mushroom ajillo, and a creamy shrimp and spinach pasta. Each dish was not just beautifully presented, but tasted absolutely divine—this is hands-down one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever visited. What made it even better was how incredibly reasonable the prices were for such high-quality food. The exceptional service truly made our evening unforgettable. Our server, Miyuu, was incredibly patient and helpful, navigating our limited Japanese with perfect English and a warm smile. Food was delicious, the service was quite fast after we ordered because we were the only ones there. Bad points, the staff is not friendly at all, they are really inattentive and it left me with the idea they don’t want customer to come back. And another bad point is we went with a dog because it’s a “pet friendly” restaurant but as it was summer outside it was too sunny and also there were so many birds trying to eat our food, we asked the staff if it was possible we could go in even putting the dog inside his cage and they said it was not possible, which makes no sense to me.
