the mont blanc and chestnut cream puff are their highly recommended menu items, but we thought the marron cream roll was the true star of the show! the marron cream was light and milky, the sponge cake was fragrant, and in the middle of the cake was alcoholic chestnut paste that delighted us all!

dining in this cafe made me feel like the rich japanese aristocrats i’ve seen in animes 😂 everything was plated on dainty porcelain plates and served with silver cutlery, and the service we received from the staff...

nice cafe, but we had to wait quite a while for seats. Arrived at 4pm and waited about half an hour, only 3 people ahead of us. Mont Blanc tart is nice and representative of Obuse town, known for its chestnuts. The vanilla pudding with chestnut syrup was also nice. Tea in a pot for one person, we asked for refill but wasn’t allowed or maybe lost in translation. Cafe looks antique and has many nice...
