One of my favorite Ramen restaurants on the Island, this is a fantastic ramen shop to try many of the quintessential styles and flavors of Ramen! They specialize in Salt Ramen, but also has Soy Sauce Ramen, Tonkotsu Ramen, Tsukemen, and Abura Soba to all try! This spot is quite popular with the locals, testifying to its solid quality and deliciousness!
The noodles have a nice tender chew to them and are the traditional thin ramen noodles. They are quite delicious and simple in their taste. There's a nice amount of them where it's not overloading the bowl or the broth, so it is a nice balance overall. The Tonkotsu broth is very rich and heavy on flavor, but overall is a thin/light soup. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy, but rather is light and goes down smooth. Tonkotsu broth is heavy on pork flavor and they add a garlic-infused oil to accentuate the flavor profile of the broth. The pork itself is very tender and has a good fat-to-meat ratio (30-70) which adds a decent amount of flavor without being too fatty or overpowering the broth.
The Tsukemen broth is incredibly delicious. Tsukemen is dipping the noodles in a thick heavy near-boiling broth that is in a separate bowl, and the broth heats up and finishes cooking the noodles while allowing the sauce to delicately coat the entirety of the noodles. The broth is even heavier on the pork flavor than the Tonkotsu broth, and is thicker and has concentrated flavor. The Tsukemen noodles are also thicker and chewier as well, and finishing cooking them in the broth allows for a nice al-dente mouth-chew and is quite delicious and tasty! If you haven't tried Tsukemen before, this is an excellent place to try it for the first time!
There is also unlimited self-serve Okinawan-style Rice, which is excellent to snack on by itself or to add to the remaining broth of any ramen as a bit of a rice-soup cleanup. You order your meal via a Ticket Machine and they have both an English Menu as well as an English Sign to hold over the buttons to know what each menu item is.
The staff themselves are very friendly and polite, and work well with both the locals and the American Servicemembers who occasionally frequent the establishment. The whole restaurant is incredibly clean, well lit, and has a nice warm homely feel to it with its light wood astethics, tatami dining room, and Japanese Daytime Talkshow TV playing constantly. There is a bar that sits about 8 people for single individuals, two tables that hold about 4, and a tatami room dining area that can seat three larger parties and guests. All of the utensils and plating are nice high quality wooden trays and spoons, and the overall vibe of the restaraunt is quaint, refreshing, and relaxing.
Cash only!
Again, I would highly recommend this Ramen restaurant to anyone who loves Ramen and would love to try some different flavors. Everything here is delicious, and I cannot emphasize how delicious and relaxing this establishment is! Highly recommend...

A ramen place, that is now close to my heart , this restaurant is just all kinds of happy once you start getting your food. This is a typical place where you order your food by inserting money in a machine. If you can’t read Japanese, they have a cheat sheet menu and the best of them all, is a translator that they will place on the machine itself, so you can order with ease. If you need change for your ¥10,000 bill, right beside the ordering machine , is a change machine, where it’ll change it to thousand yens.
Now let me tell you what made my stomach full and my heart warm in this ramen awesome place. I had to overdo the ordering cause I know I won’t be back?, just because I am leaving Okinawa. But I ordered three kinds of ramen. The salt ramen, the broth less ramen, and the pork broth ramen.
The salty ramen is the basic salty broth , but a little salty if you ask me. It doesn’t really over power the flavor of the pork tho. It will come with thin noodles.
The broth less ramen has a chinese style noodles , where it is chewy when eaten but has so much flavor when chewed. It will come with raw ingredients, like red onion, and an egg yolk. Mixing it all together , gives it that warmth ohhey gooey texture that just matches with the noodles.
The third one is the pork broth noodles. I had to smell it first because there was something different about it. It had the smell of smokiness and charcoal-y touch to it. The pork looked like it was heated or placed on a bed of charcoal before added to the bowl to give it some debt of flavor. It brings out so much umami taste that would make you feel that you are one with the earth. ( dramatic right? Lol )
Everything here is amazing and I would go back again if I can. Bring your kids, bring your wife, bring your friends and your girlfriends. I am sure that they will love...
Read moreThis restaurant is wonderful with great tasting broths and some of the best Gyoza I've had. Nice rich ramen, with tender pieces of pork and boiled eggs cooked perfectly. Be prepared to bring Yen because the ordering process is off a ticketing machine that only takes 1,000 Yen bills. They do have a bill machine to break anything over that, though. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the lighting is slightly dim, which adds to the chill ambiance. The price is great. Expect to spend a max of 2,000 Yen on a hungry day. They are English friendly with a placard that goes over the ticketing machine to translate the options. Overall, I'd highly recommend it! Thank...
