Tequila Bar & Grill -closed 12/26-1/3 — Restaurant in Okinawa

This place is great! The food is on point and there is a great selection of tequila. The owners are great people and being there brings back memories of growing up listening to my Dad play some Vincente Fernandez at home. I've only had the Baja Fish tacos and the Carne Asada, but everything looks tasty. The tortillas are hand made, pressed, and cooked up right in front of you and you get a generous serving of meat for your taco. There's a big selection of sauces as well as homemade red and green salsa. I'm not a big Tequila fan but I decided to ask the owner for a recommendations since I've been going. My favorite restaurant in all of Okinawa. Hands down some of the best mexican food I've ever eaten, everything I've ever tried (which has been most of the menu items) has been absolutely delicious and so flavorful.

Mango margarita is perfection.

Prices are unbeatable (usually around $50 usd to feed my family of 5). They do take visa!!!

Service is fantastic, and food is made fresh by order- but even with it being made fresh wait time is typically no longer than 10-15 minutes.

Parking is so easy, there's so many lots that are cheap (500 yen only and less) and near Tequila Bar. We like using Center Parking Lot. About a 5 minute walk from the car to the restaurant.

Don't sleep on giving this...

I had the Carne Asada tacos and I was not impressed. Tacos were $3.50 a piece and were small. The tortilla was hand made but not cooked fully as if they just slapped it on the stove for a few seconds on each side. There was a generous amount of meat but no flavor and the meat was dry and overcooked. On top of that there was a tiny pinch of cilantro and onion. Maybe for foreigners who don’t know real tacos this is a good place to go, but if you are looking for authentic Mexican tacos do not go here. I will not be coming back to this place sorry.... although the margaritas were strong...
