2024-1-26 Rarely do I post for something disappointing and without photos. This store was one of the reasons I chose to stop by this area on a road trip with my wife. She likes donuts and I told her I've read a good review about this shop. But I never thought that we would get an infuriating experience instead. This young lady staff/baker suddenly called my wife's attention "accusing" her of putting back a donut on the tray inside the glass shelf (their system is customers use tongs to get donuts from trays in closed glass shelves with sliding doors as cover). The way she asked was rude and she even had to individually touch the donuts in front of us to feel the temperature of each piece. So I tell you this lady: if you felt 1 piece was colder than the rest, it proves your point that a donut was indeed returned, but it was not by my wife. From your vantage point, maybe you just saw a donut being put back on the tray but couldn't see the person. An old lady cut us in the line with donuts in her bag. She must have been the one who did it, or did you just see her picking up and putting back down a few pieces as a way of choosing? I couldn't tell you what exactly happened, as I was busy on my phone looking happily at photos I took aroud the paved Manzamo Cape walk, so I just told my wife to get 1 piece of each kind. Nonetheless, instead of buying more donuts (and taking photos), we just hurriedly paid whatever donuts my wife already picked. Had we not have fun walking around the cape and buying lots of stuff at the souvenir shop on the 1F earlier, we would have engaged you and put you to shame right on the spot. But we didn't want the day to be spoiled so we just walked away. We just ate in the car, and objectively out of the 4 donuts we bought, I somehow liked just 1 (tapioca ball). I hope this lady staff (even if you are the manager or owner) would be more courteous in dealing...
Read moreThis donuts are a must on your next visit to Naha!, there are only around 120 yen but the taste is priceless. I got one of each, and they all have their own special thing. Of course my recommendation would be the tapioca ones because there’s something more about the texture (kind of a mochi) crusty on the outside but soft on the inside plus really nice and sweet flavor. They have beverages as well so you can drink them with your donuts. You only can pay with cash. The place is nice and has a...
