Actually we are heading to another coffee shop for breakfast but unfortunately it wasn’t opened on Thursday. That coffee shop is called Funfan and is found on a building’s 2nd floor. This coffee shop is famous with locals. They can even smoke in there. We aren’t smokers so it’s ok to give it a miss.
So we left our car still parked at the paid carpark beside since it’s about 200yen for 40 mins (considered cheap in Osaka) and then we scout around for another coffee shop.
We found this coffee shop called Hamayu about 400m away. This is a cosy, small cafe located in a quiet corner that is usually frequented by locals. The uncle is their barista and he brews his coffee in a special glass flask. Coffee tastes ok but the Assam tea with a bit of creamer tastes even better.
On the breakfast, wifey likes her toasted bread a lot and we both enjoyed our salad and boiled egg. It’s inexpensive and you can definitely find the local, homely feeling here.
Alright now it’s time to walk...
