Omoni — Restaurant in Osaka

This place is absolutely incredible!! I had never tried okonomiyaki before visiting here but it was honestly the best thing I had ever eaten in my life!! Determined to try somewhere else to compare I did and the second restaurant came nowhere near in comparison. I have been in Osaka for 1 week and eaten here 4 times and each time it has been just as amazing as my first. Lovely family restaurant and we have even seen the owner in there on more than one occasion. The menu is not in English but the waiter is very good and happy to explain the dishes to you, but in all honesty you could order anything and be extremely happy with it. the food itself is not bad and cheap. but the service is terrible especially the server guy. we were there for only an hour after our food was served but the server said to us to leave bc there r customers who r waiting. we didnt sit there for nth, we asked for drinks and food and only stayed there for less than an hour. SO HORRIBLE SERVICE and RUDE. He directly asked us to leave in very impolite way. prefer to go to another 店。fyi this was my first time to hear dat rude requestion in japan. I was a bit nervous going into this restaurant alone by myself with little to no Japanese skills, but it was a great experience! The staff and chef were lovely, and the atmosphere was very cozy and felt authentic. I came in during lunch time, no queue.

They only had the menu in Japanese, which was no problem as I used the Google Translate and the staff helped guide me where the app couldn't.

The food was amazing, some of the best stuff I've had in Japan so far! I had Okonomiyaki and Yakisoba. I would recommend everyone to order both, not just one of...
