Santen Abeno Bandai — Restaurant in Osaka

¥1310 for tempura set (adding one tempura egg). (May 2025)

I didn’t have much choice around and or more importantly I didn’t know where. But this restaurant looks promising as I saw in Nara as well. So I just taken a chance.

The food is not bad, not great either. Just an ordinary fast food chain like Yoshinoya or Sukiya kind, only this one is serving tempura.

The tempura Ebi (shrimp) is nice, the Toriten (chickin) is good, the vege tempura so so, the size is smaller than picture, hence I was not as impressed I guess.

One thing is they offer free refill of rice. So if you finish your rice before tempura don’t be shy to...

(English below) 今日はお昼をテイクアウトで利用しました。 初めてネット注文を試しました。アプリをインストールすることなく、LINEのミニアプリにてすべて完了します。 やはり、取りに行くと待たずに受け取れるのは快適です。

本日は「とり海老天丼」を注文。海老一匹に鶏天2個、野菜3個が入って500円しないので、かなりお得。天丼のタレは別添えなので持ち帰っても天ぷらが（比較的）カラッとしています。

次回使用できるクーポンも貰えて、大満足です。 I used the take out for lunch today. This is the first time I tried ordering online. Everything is completed in the mini-app on LINE without having to install an app separately. After all, it is comfortable to receive the food without waiting when you go to pick it up.

Today, I ordered the "Tori-Ebi" Tendon (chicken prawn tempura bowl). It contains one prawn, two chicken tempura and three vegetables for less than 500 yen, which is quite a bargain. The tempura is (relatively) crispy even after you take it home because the tempura sauce is served separately.
