Pacioccone — Restaurant in Otsu

Been coming here each time when I visit Japan (my family lives in Otsu). It's my favourite Japanese-Italian restaurant in the country! The chef understands and respects Italian cuisine but adds a very nice Japanese touch to it. The food is reasonably priced. The quality of the ingredients and the taste of the dishes is amazing! The desserts are handmade by the chef and are absolutely incredible. The cocktails and drinks are really nice too.

My only piece of advice woud be to not keep red wine in the fridge... But maybe that's something they do in Japan?

Apparently they have live music sometimes during lunch hours. I'll definitely check that out once...

Great italian restaurant! Everything was very fresh and delicious. We ordered the margarita pizza, the quattro fromagio pizza and the prociutto and rucola pizza.. Their pastas are very good, freshly made, and you can chose and type: Spaghetti, Linguini and fettoccine.. The desserts were also very delicious. The pizzas were really good and rich with a thick crust compared to some others in the area. Nice setting at the lake as well. They messed up our bill at the end which was surprising with only 2 tables of customers but corrected it without issue. The food deserves the...
