K'rocodile Diner — Restaurant in Oyama

The atmosphere is half the experience. It looks like someone transported a bar from the midwest to Japan, with cool details like the deer antler crown. The hamburglar collection must be more ironic. But this would not be Japan if the attention to quality and detail was not superior. There is only one menu at lunch, although it has plenty of choice - the wasabi mayonnaise adds an extra dimension to the bread without making it overly spicy. The friendly and efficient staff will give a careful explanation of the food and the choices, but in Japanese only. No English menu here. The hamburgers are generous and if you select the double meat option, you can skip dinner. Especially with bacon topping. You have to take it apart to fit in the cover provided though, and tou will want to do that. The bread is perfect, chewy and just soft enough. The sauce is just enough to make the burger juicy. Locals seem to favor the wasabi mayo sauce with cheese topping which sounds like a great idea. Another tip is to order the craft cola. It is the closest you will get to a drink at lunchtime, since you are required to mix it yourself. Wait for as long as you can to let the cinnamon stick give out as much flavor as possible. And do not put in too much of the cola syrup at first. One more thing: Payment...

Friends and I each ordered different burgers, ranging in price from 1,100 - 1,300 yen. Each came with fries and a side salad. The food was great! Nice atmosphere. Very clean. If they ever add a juke box, and put shakes and sundaes on the menu, I'll change my review to 5 stars...

こちらのクチコミで高評価だったのでハンバーガー目当てで妻と二人で訪問。 なかなか良いお店だがクチコミにあまり書いてないことを書いておきます。 出されたハンバーガーが大きいので食べ方を聞いたら、うちのはバンズもパティも硬いのでナイフで切れません、紙で包んでかじって食べて下さい。とのことで包み方を教えてくれ包んでくれた。 十分潰して食べるとのことだが、ソースははみ出しバンズもパティも固くてなかなか噛みきれない。 妻は口が小さいのでほぼ無理と諦めモード。 自分は大口開いて頑張ったが口の周りがソースだらけで、ソースがはみ出し皿も手もベタベタでした。 妻は1割くらい食べてギブアップ。解体しながら食べていました。 店の感じも良くオシャレで、肉の旨みも十分有り良い肉だとわかる。 店員さんも気さくでお会計後も出口まで見送ってくれ、一人は車の脇まで出てきて挨拶してくれました。 ワンドリンク制の為、ハンバーガー2個とソフトドリンク2個で支払いは約4000円。なかなか良い値段だと感じました。 硬さと食べづらさで再訪は無いと思いますが、もったいないお店だと感じました。 食べやすかったら通っても良いと思えるお店でした。 このハードさが好きな人もいると思うのであくまで個人的感想です。 ぜひハードバージョンとソフトバージョンを作って...
