KFC — Restaurant in Ozu

Came here for lunch whilst travelling out to Kurokawa Onsen.

Comparing this to Australian KFC. The Teriyaki Chicken burger was the standout item, highly recommend trying this.

The chicken compared to Australia seems to have more of a crunch in the batter but less seasoning. The chicken was juicy and hot. The crispy strips also were covered in a similar crunchy batter, again lacking seasoning.

The nuggets were similar to what you get in Australia, but interestingly the only sauce option they have in Japan appears to be ketchup and nothing else, which is a shame. The fries were unfortunately bland as they did not seem to be salted. Melon Soda for a drink was a nice option.

So basically compared to Australia, the coating in general is heavier and crunchier, but lacks seasoning (and the lack of seasoning is the same across all menu items). The chicken is juicier overall though. Would be 5/5 if it had more seasoning, but is...

先日、JR肥後大津駅の近くで用事があったついでに、「ケンタッキーフライドチキン熊本大津店」に立ち寄ってみました。お昼時だったのでちょっと混んでいるかなと思いましたが、駐車場にはまだ余裕があり、スムーズに入店できました。 店内は明るく清潔感があって落ち着いた雰囲気です。 私は「チキンフィレバーガーセット（ドリンク＆ポテト付き）」を注文しました。 PayPayが使えるのもありがたかったです。 しばらくすると出来たてのバーガーとポテトが到着。チキンフィレバーガーは、衣がサクッと軽く、中のチキンはジューシー。特にほんのりスパイスの効いた味付けが絶妙で、「やっぱりKFCのチキンは一味違うなー」と改めて感じました。ポテトもホクホクで、ちょうどいい塩加減。飲み物はアイスティーにしたのですが、油っぽさをサッと流してくれて相性抜群でした。 他にも期間限定で「とりの日パック」や辛口フィレバーガーも出ていたので、次回はぜひそちらにチャレンジしてみようと思います。 又ドライブスルーも併設されていて、忙しい時などはそちらが便利そうですね。 全体的にスタッフさんの対応も丁寧で気持ちよく食事ができました。 駅からも近くてちょっとしたランチや軽食にぴったりのお店です。 また近くに来た際には...
