What a gem! We found this restaurant more or less by coincidence, but what a find it was! This is a heritage site and it's almost a small museum with objects from the past, a beautiful inner garden surrounded by private rooms with traditional dining on tatami mats. The food was absolutely spectacular! I’ve never tasted anything like it… truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The service was impeccable and very courteous. The restaurant is set in a traditional Japanese house with a beautiful garden and several lovely tatami rooms. It felt almost like being inside a museum. An unforgettable experience that will remain one of the most incredible memories of my trip to Japan....

5 stars for the atmosphere here. Sashimi and Tempura were tasty, but the back in time feeling and great service were spectacular. Had a lovely tatami room overlooking an outside garden.
