Located in the underground street, it’s a small and easily overlooked shop. Seating is very limited and compact, but table turnover is high. Although the dining space is cramped, the food is so delicious that the environment’s flaws can be completely overlooked. I ordered the daily special: eggplant curry rice. I’ve never had eggplant this good! You can choose between regular or small portions of rice — and the small portion is slightly cheaper. If the curry sauce isn't enough, you can ask for more. A scoop of ice cream is served after the meal.

The rice portion was quite generous. Curry, whilst not spicy, was a tad peppery, and you can request for a top up of the curry onto your bowl for free.

Ordered both the katsu and Hamburg (Wednesday’s special I believe). Hamburg was soft and flavorful. Definitely preferred the Hamburg over the katsu as the katsu was a little dry.

Very small establishment and very japanese experience, the place is frequented by many locals having their lunch here. The obasans manning the kitchen are very friendly and VERY ATTENTIVE, she offered me extra sauce the moment my plate dried up! Great hospitality there.

The curry is downright one of the best i've tasted yet. Worth every yen you pay, we tried the beef curry and pork katsu both are extremely good.. this is my must go place in sapporo.
