Hands Sapporo Store — Local services in Sapporo

Ok admittedly I was on a difficult mission to find more specialised craft goods, and Tokyu Hands was the right place to go! I got some small pieces of fancy wood, the kind that can be used to make knife handles, and some fabric clamps. They had the most extensive hardware section with much better quality (of course) than the 100 yen stores. Wood working and leatherwork have their own sections. There's a range of other giftware in here as well. It starts on the 8th floor, and also includes the floor above. The good news is that if you spend up they have a whole bunch of cashiers on the top level ready to refund the tax if...

I find that after relocation to this place, the shopping experience isn't that good. The shop occupies one entire floor and compared to the old location, the product variety is lesser. It's also more crowded here.

Old location: Very large shop with many floors similar to the one at Shinjuku but doesn't share the building with others. The place is slightly off the main center of activity which makes it so less crowded and easy to shop. Restrooms and benches are available in the building. One can spend a few hours here going through all the floors and interesting...

I came here for 3 things: Nonoji earpicks, Green Bell nail clippers, and Shupatto bags. There is a whole booklet at the Green Bell section explaining which nail clipper for what preference (you'll need Google Translate)

Tax free, too! But in the form of cash refund after payment, as opposed to directly knocking off the price.

Hario coffee equipment available here too, super cheap compared to where I'm from.
