This restaurant in Hokkaido specializing in lamb dishes comes highly recommended. I went with a group of five people, and each of us ordered a set menu with a diverse selection of dishes. The lamb has a delightful aroma, and the seasoning is rich and flavorful, without any unpleasant smell.

The portions are generous; in fact, one set menu per person is quite substantial. I'd suggest considering ordering four sets for a group of five. I had to make a reservation at 6 for the next day as they were always busy. They allow you an hour and a half to complete your meal before the next reservation which gives you ample time to relax and enjoy the meal. Staff greeted you in a friendly manner and spoke good English. They explained the process of cooking the veggies first then the protein goes in the centre and to be careful not to overcook it. The waitress even assisted me with the cooking as it was my first time. First time eating Genghis Khan in Sapporo here. We chose the set that has 4 types of meat. Staff were very helpful--we communicated through basic Japanese. Orders can be done via a tablet, which has an English language option, or through their staff.

As for the food itself, the meat was very tasty, and the sauce that was served complemented the meat well. We ordered haskap-flavored ice cream for dessert, a Hokkaido specialty, and it was also good.
