An impressive variety of western-style burgers can be found at Sims Lane! The buns are definitely part of the “secret sauce”; delicious and very similar to Shake Shack, which we consider the gold standard.

My Double Double lived up to its name and was very well cooked. The overwhelming amount of lettuce worked well with the rest of the burger flavors and was refreshingly chilled. The Avocado Burger was also a hit!

We did not particularly like the lunch salad, which felt more like an after-thought. The French Fries also might have been a bit of a missed opportunity. However, at the end of the day, one typically comes to a burger stand for the burgers, not the salad! And the burgers really are top notch.

The restaurant was cold, but the service was nice and blankets are provided.

If we come back, we will certain try one of their many milk shakes. They look awesome!

If you come by car, park in the lot immediately south of the restaurant. Parking is free if you spend more than ¥1,500.

This was an absolutely amazing find! Really great homemade burgers with locally sourced toppings. The buns are also really great! The service was really fast, and there are so many options on the menu at a really great value. I was very impressed. I also got a passionfruit milkshake, and my mom got a side of onion rings which were cooked very well (and had a great portion!) The fries were also very nicely cooked and seasoned. Wanted to find a burger spot on our last day in Sapporo, and Sims Lane Burger Stand did not disappoint! The wait for our food was way faster than expected (we arrived just after the 5pm opening) and the burgers did not disappoint.

The salsa pineapple burger had a great sweet and spicy flavor and paired well with onion rings and a whiskey highball. My partner enjoyed the bacon mushroom burger.
