HOPE DINER — Restaurant in Sasebo

Small but cozy Cafe/Bar located near the Arcade shopping area on a back street. Nice variety of American type food and drinks. Nice atmosphere with videos playing on one TV and CNN on the other. The Staff is nice and friendly and served you with a smile.

The pancakes were really good, I have an issue with not being able to eat sausage instead of bacon. I don’t think every customer likes bacon. I asked and was told I can replace bacon with chicken at an extra cost of ¥400. There isn’t a variety of toppings for the pancakes. If they added whip cream, fruit toppings or flavored syrup, the pancakes would be better.

I’ve been in the states for two years now and can confidently say that the food, service and prices are disgusting in the states. I don’t eat out in the USA.

Hope diner by far has the best fresh American food in Japan and the USA for the prices offered. Absolutely wonderful dining experience.

If you are a local guide giving Hope Diner anything less than a 4 star review then you are probably working for another restaurant and are just hating on Hope Diner. Please don’t ever eat at Hope Diner again. Better yet buy a $3,000 round trip flight to the USA and go to a restaurant there. You deserve to eat the crap they sell at the USA...

Hopes Diner is one of the best diners here in Sasebo Japan all there food is top notch leaves you very satisfied. The chief and his wife daughter and employees are super nice and do there best to make sure every customer enjoys there meals they love talking with there customers it makes the homey feel to the diner so much more I recommend hope diner to every one from my command and get the same thing told back to me and that's (thanks for recommending hopes that place was great food was amazing and they were so friendly).
