Tomi Sushi — Restaurant in Sendai

/Ambience: Quaint, cozy and homely.

/Price Point vs. Quality & Quantity: We were blown away by the generous serving across all dishes; be it Nigiri set, Chirashi bowl or Umeshiso sushi rolls (where were what we ordered). Sashimi was fresh and rice was soft. Price was ~7000yen.

/Space: Enough to accommodate 5-6 groups of people at most as it's a small setup.

/Service: Husband and wife were hospitable. They were not versed in English (fyi).

/Xtra: This restaurant / shop house is located within a residential area. Customers were mostly local and they were somewhat surprised to see us (Gaijin) entering. Nonetheless they have tried their best to engage us and we were greatly appreciative of that.

Place is not exactly near main roads hence there will be abit of walking involved.

食べログ☝️レビュー4・5の高評価に期待し・江戸前富寿司に入店。

暖簾をくぐると綺麗で広い店内でしたが寿司屋とは思えない2人の職人の元気のない出迎え💦。

席に座りランチのにぎり(1・5人前)とちらし(大盛)を注文。

すると☝️愛嬌のない女将らしき方がお待ちどうさまの言葉もなく💦はいどうぞ的な塩対応。

寿司に期待を込めてまずはマグロを一口☝️えっ⁉️ネタが【ぬるく】シャリも酢飯の味がしなくその後のネタも全然美味しくなかったです💦。

正直☝️質より量の方にはお薦めしますが美味しい寿司を食べたいと言う方にはお薦めしません。

宮千代の回らないお寿司屋さん

外観は昔ながらの感じですが、 中は清潔感があり、明るい木の雰囲気があります。 平日だったため、お客サンは、少なかったんですが、ゆっくりした雰囲気を楽しめました。

酒 日本酒の種類がとにかく多く、コスパもすごく良い。四合瓶が多めにありました。

お通し 里芋の揚出し。出汁が美味しく、季節感、ボリュームもあり、満足です。

つまみ イカ天ぷら→イカが柔らかい、ふわっともしている。 筋子巻→新鮮なので、苦味や臭みがない。 寿司３貫→どれも職人の寿司という丁寧な仕事がされてました。
