Nice atmosphere, but service was bad, waitress was rude, telling us once we entered that they close at 8pm and we arrived at 7pm. Told us that we can’t order sukiyaki because it was 1 hour away from their closing time and it will take too long to consume. Told us many of the items on the menu are unavailable, maybe they didn’t want to prepare them close to their closing time. We had the restaurant to ourselves. We arrived just after 2 pm on a wet windy Wednesday. Warm greeting and attentive owner (?). We naturally chose seat by the window and selected the tempura set and sashimi bowl set, 1750 and 2350 respectively. No English menu but enough pictures on the table menu. It's a lovely place, with an amazing view of the ocean! The menu has a good variety of dishes! Today I enjoyed a bowl of rice with Sashimi. The presence of so many fishing boats nearby and the delicious food suggests to me that the fish is quite fresh, just what I wanted for lunch! No tourists around, a jewel of the locals.
