鮨処おがさわら — Restaurant in Shizuoka

We ate at this restaurant today and it was a lovely experience. We ate the best sushi here! The waiter went to great lengths to translate into English. Master cooked live for us with fresh ingredients and showed us a lot about sushi. It not only tasted delicious, but the whole stay was great fun! Thank you for the great time. Warm greetings...

Great sushi, absolutely fresh fish (I was shown the living eel that I then ate later) and nice people.

I can't really speak a lot of japanese, but the staff was very nice and patient and did their best to help.

The prices may look a little high, but they are absolutely reasonable for...

2018/4/2 個人的には「ちょっと贅沢」のつもりで入店。 昼食には遅く夕食には早い中途半端な時間の為入店の際は一人でした。 時間のせいでお若い店主らしき方がやはり一人で事務作業をされているようでしたが、「すぐに用意します！」と爽やかに対応、程なくして注文した2000円のセットが。

マグロ等は普通。でも金目鯛と甘エビがとても美味しかった！ 思わず笑みがこぼれます。 特に金目鯛！ 店主さんによると「金目鯛は深海にいるので通年油がのった美味しいのが食べられる」との事。 「おがさわら」を訪ねてこれを外してはいけません。 そしてイクラ苦手なんだけどこれも美味いと感じました。好きな人ならかなりイケルでしょう。

個人的な好み、慣れとしては酢飯の味が薄いのとワサビも少なく感じました(江戸前で修行された方という事で、江戸前なのか、当地静岡風なのか、そういうスタイルなのでしょう)が、そのせいでネタの味が際立ったという事でしょうか。

店主は接客に慣れている感じではなかったですが、人柄の良さそうな方で一所懸命という感じ。好感が持てます。 食べ終わろうかというタイミングで女性の従業員の方が来られましたが、この方も好印象でした。
