3rd floor in the Esaka Heartland building. Quite busy at lunch time (filled up more around 12) even with a limited menu. In addition to the lunch menu there is a daily special. Today was yurinchi (Chinese fried chicken). Reasonable price for the lunch set, around 900 yen (Mapo Dofu) with rice (free refill), salad, soup and desert. The chili fried chicken was really good and I really like the peanuts in there which give it a nice crunch. It tasted great on top of the rice so I had to order another bowl.😅 The harusame salad and egg drop soup were like school lunch but still good as was the annin dofu. The chili chicken might be too hot for some, I found it nicely spicy but my wife had one mouthful and started hiccuping because it was too spicy 😅 the Mapo Dofu has the same 2 chili mark sonit might be too hot for some people. Really good value and lunch, I can see why it is so popular!

It’s more authentic Chinese (Szechuan) style rather than “Japanese” Chinese style, so you can expect the spicy dishes to be.. actually spicy. I’m happy this restaurant is so close to me so that I can go often. I highly recommend their yurinchi and.. if you can handle spicy.. their mapo dishes.

It’s more authentic Chinese (Szechuan) style rather than “Japanese” Chinese style, so you can expect the spicy dishes to be.. actually spicy. めちゃくちゃ迷って担々麺ランチを注文。 辛さは控えめピリっとほんのり辛いお味です。あっさり目なのでスープも飲み干したくなる感じでした。
