Maru Curry is one of our must-go-again restaurants. The curry is a set meal (usually two different flavors) and each visit we continue to be extremely impressed with the flavor and presentation. The type of curry varies depending on the day. Only one type can be selected in a day.

There are few tables, limited stocks. If u want must eat, u should go early.

■カレー屋MARU 香川県高松市、栗林公園駅近くのカレー屋MARUでランチしてきました。 路地裏のさらに裏、アパートの一室といった感じでたどり着くまでが大変。自転車で行ってよかった。 フードメニューは今日のCURRYのみ。 この日はムガール帝国のチキンカリーとKERALAVEGの合い盛りです。 靴を脱いでお店に入って、壁際の席に座って注文。 ■ムガール帝国のチキンカリーとKERALAVEGの合い盛り ワンプレートにターメリックライスが2山、チキンカレー、ニンジンのラぺ、バナナのドライフルーツ。 小鉢にもカレーが盛られています。 伝統的なムガール帝国のカレーはクリームやカシューナッツを使うことが多いそうですが、このチキンカリーもスパイシーというよりマイルドでなめらかな印象。もちろん辛いけど。 スプーンで簡単に切れる手羽元2本も美味しい。 小鉢に入っているのはココナッツミルクのベジカレー。 野菜たっぷりで食べるカレーです。 ■レッドグレープフルーツラッシー 食後にはレッドグレープフルーツのラッシーを追加。これも珍しいですねー。 底に溜まったレッドグレープフルーツを混ぜていただきます。 酸味は控えめでフレッシュ。すっきりしてます。 たどり着くのは大変だけど、それだけの価値のあるカレーでした。
