Stopped in here for lunch while visiting the statue of Franky from One Piece at the train station. The curry rice was some of the best I've ever had, I really loved the home cooked taste of it. The atmosphere here was great and the restaurant overall had a really adorable charm to it. I would love to visit again the next time I'm in Japan.

Es increíble ver qué una sola persona se encarga de todo aquí, la comida vale completamente la pena, puede mejorar un poco más pero el servicio y el ambiente lo complementan, la dueña es muy amable y atenta, además de que hace todo por ella misma, la comida gusta mucho, es deliciosa. Ojalá implemente los pagos con tarjeta.

Es increíble ver qué una sola persona se encarga de todo aquí, la comida vale completamente la pena, puede mejorar un poco más pero el servicio y el ambiente lo complementan, la dueña es muy amable y atenta, además de que hace todo por ella misma, la comida gusta mucho, es deliciosa. If you find yourself looking for food in Takamori, please go here. A lovely local restaurant with a very homey feel. We had curry udon and curry rice and both were absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend the curry rice in particular. It's my favorite Japanese meal and this might be the best I've ever tasted. Also comes with a tasty side salad and pickles. All the food is cooked by one woman with local ingredients and she does an amazing job.

No English menu but easy to get by with Google translate if...

Me and my friends ended up in this restaurant by chance and we are so happy we did!! It was like going to someone's house to have food. We had a set menu for 1210yen which was plenty for us. Unique food, great taste. The restaurant opened in 1955 and uses only...
