I recently visited Amida Coffee in Takaoka, and it was an exceptional experience. The highlight of my visit was the Hot Buddha Latte, which was simply superb. The rich, creamy texture and the perfect balance of flavors made it a delightful treat. The latte even featured a beautiful Buddha face artwork in the foam, adding a unique and artistic touch to the experience.

Spent ¥2,000 yen on x2 coffees and x2 ice creams to then be told afterwards we were not allowed to sit upstairs with the view of Buddha, BUT if we had spent only ¥700 on cookies instead it would have been fine to sit upstairs. Really stupid policy. Staff pointed at the tiny sign with tiny writing explaining the dumb policy. Real shame as coffee and ice...
