Just follow the previous review that when you don’t speak Japanese and don’t know what to order. Just ask Chef Shimizu for set then he will prepare for you. We really like his dish and have to order the second round. Tonkutsu is really yummy. We will come back again. Love this place 👍👍👍

ランチ利用 (6.20, 2023) 親しみやすいオーナーが営む和食のお店。 駅前の立地ながら駐車場もあります。 写真は日替わり定食の"牛とじ定食"(1000yen)。 . Visited for lunch. Washoku restaurant in cozy space. There’s Higawari Teishoku for lunch, which is day by day special menu, and that was what I ordered. Yummy!

The food is very good, but the owner made us feel very uncomfortable. Instead of speaking to us and giving us the chance to see if we speak Japanese (which we do), he communicated silently via hand guestures. The waiter was very gentle and kind and we felt like the owner was quite rude to him. Overall we felt very uncomfortable having dinner in this restaurant and almost left before even ordering due to the owner’s...
