There are only a few options for lunch which means choice is limited when one of them is closed for the holiday. I went here for the first time. I believe this is the “modernization” of what city people/tourists have of island restaurants. I had the Soki Don ¥900. You get a full stomach, there’s music playing from the speaker, you can hear the wind chime. This place seems also good for an afternoon tea. Seems they only...

Today this was the only restaurant open on the island, so I visited it twice ~ once to try the noodles and once to try the black sugar shaved ice (Kakigori). Both were very delicious ! I was also impressed by the taste of the ice tea which is quite unique. The staff was also friendly and...

Take of shoes to enter the restaurant. Good atmosphere. Vegetable noodles had a strong taste of MSG and it was pretty salty. Miso soup...
