This restaurant has been around for 3 generations. I got the nigiri dinner with red miso soup for ¥1800 and it was fantastic. I could really taste the quality of the fish and the chef placed each one on my plate after I ate it. He is super friendly and passionate as the third generation chef. Because it was towards the end of the night, he even gave me an extra piece on the house! I got to chat with the waitress (who spoke a little bit of English) and learn more about their business. The nigiri chef recommended set was a good value and came with a larger serving for ¥2700. The unagai was good but a big expensive.

I went in person to book for dinner for the next day, for 8 PM. Then, the next day, you called my hotel around 7 PM to say that I had a reservation for 6 PM and I didn't show up... I was puzzeled, I thought that there was a misunderstanding. But later, when I went out to find another restaurant, I passed by this place and I found out that there was a message apologizing that the restaurant was closed for the day !
