What an absolute gem of a coffee shop in the middle of Chikatsuyu. We were hiking the Kumano Kodo for 3 days so it was such a treat to find this spot.
The owner Kazu speaks English and very friendly.I noticed right away the artwork on their logo was Native PNW totem art from my hometown. I asked him about it and he told me the story of him and his wife visiting PNW yeara ago. The shop is filled with books and he roasts his beans there. I bought a bag to bring home.
