If you’re in Japan and craving a halal twist on classic Japanese cuisine, Ibadha Food Palace is a gem you should definitely try. Located in a quiet part of town, this restaurant offers a blend of traditional Japanese dishes prepared with halal ingredients—perfect for those who want to experience authentic Japanese food while maintaining dietary restrictions.

Pros:

Halal Japanese Fusion: One of the best aspects of Ibadha Food Palace is its fusion of halal-friendly ingredients with beloved Japanese dishes. You can enjoy sushi, tempura, ramen, and even yakitori, all without worrying about non-halal elements. Their chicken katsu and miso ramen were personal favorites—flavorful, tender, and satisfying.

Authentic Flavors: Despite the halal adaptation, the restaurant manages to stay true to the original Japanese flavors. The miso soup, in particular, was rich and well-balanced, while the sushi rice was perfectly seasoned. You can tell they’re using high-quality ingredients.

Ambiance & Service: The restaurant has a warm, welcoming vibe with traditional Japanese decor and friendly staff. The service is polite and efficient—definitely reflective of the high standards that Japanese dining is known for. Staff are also knowledgeable about halal practices and can answer any questions you have about the dishes.

Diverse Menu: From sushi rolls and donburi bowls to tempura and teriyaki, the menu is quite expansive. It’s not just a place for quick bites; there’s something for everyone, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Plus, the desserts—especially the matcha ice cream—are a delightful way to end the meal.

Cons:

Pricey: As expected for a halal restaurant in Japan, the prices are a bit on the higher side. While it's totally worth it for the quality and halal certification, if you're on a tight budget, you might want to keep an eye on your order. For example, a set meal can cost around ¥1,500 to ¥2,000, depending on what you choose.

Limited Seating: The restaurant is a bit small, so if you’re planning to dine in a large group or during peak hours, it might be hard to find a table. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends.

Limited Alcohol Options: If you're looking for a glass of wine or beer with your meal, you won’t find it here. It’s a dry restaurant by choice to keep in line with halal principles, but this might be a downside for those who prefer an alcoholic drink with their meal.

Overall: Ibadha Food Palace provides a wonderful halal dining experience in Japan, blending the best of Japanese cuisine with halal ingredients. While it’s on the pricier side and seating can be limited, the quality of the food and the service make it well worth the visit. I highly recommend it for anyone craving halal sushi, ramen, or any classic Japanese dishes done right. Perfect for both locals and...

The best part of this restaurant is the incredible variety of food they offer. You’ll find an amazing mix of Bangladeshi, Japanese, Indian, Pakistani, and Iranian cuisine — all under one roof!

Their Kachchi Biryani is absolutely exceptional — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Honestly, it’s the only place in Japan where I’ve found authentic Kachchi Biryani, and once you try it, you’ll want to come back again and again.

Also, don’t miss their fuchka — crispy, tangy, and bursting with flavor. A must-try!

💴The prices are very reasonable — not too expensive, not too cheap — just right for the quality and portion sizes.

Pro tip: If you want to try a wide variety of their dishes at a great price, go on a Saturday or Sunday. On weekends, they offer a buffet that includes about 90% of their menu items — a perfect opportunity to taste it all without spending too much.

Whether you’re craving something spicy, traditional, or unique — this place has it all. Highly...

Worst buffet experience, everything was messy. Many food ran out too early and the refill took a longer time. They said it will take 1 hour to refill some items and that was just within 2 hours of their opening time. Some meat curry had average taste and some of the items were not even served like they mentioned in their Facebook page post ( like plain rice, fish pasta or soup). The only thing I liked and thought it had enough flavor to call it a food was their fried chicken. Plates were served dirty, they didn't even clean the plates properly, their hand wash ran out and they didn't refill that either. As we visited during the weekend and it was their buffet menu so my judgement was only for their buffet as I didn't try their normal menu. No lift , you have to take the stairs as the restaurant is on the 2nd floor. But...

This is the best Bangladeshi foods buffet that I ever eat in Japan. All the items were so tasty but I like the beef curry. There were 2 kinds of beef curry. When I see their reviews I was worried to go there. But after seeing their service I really surprised and start thinking why their review is so poor. Then I discover after starting the buffet they maybe couldn’t serve as so many people come at a time and this was for only one week as they were beginners. But after that they improve themselves a lot. I found their all the food were hot and fresh. Hope they will continue this….
