Espresso D Works, nestled in the heart of Tokorozawa, is a delightful cafe-restaurant located just a few minutes' walk from the Tokorozawa station. This chic establishment boasts ample seating, providing a spacious and inviting environment. The ambiance is nothing short of enchanting, with its high ceilings and comfortable seating. The elegant lighting fixtures and expansive wooden shelves adorned with a blend of vintage and contemporary decorations further enhance the serene atmosphere.
The Food: We indulged in their Angus Beef with demi-glace sauce, accompanied by freshly baked bread and a crisp salad. The beef was undeniably delicious, though it could have benefited from a bit more tenderness. The bread was wonderfully fluffy and soft, pairing perfectly with their house-made whipped cream. 😎 The beef Bolognese pasta was equally delightful, boasting rich flavors that did not disappoint.
The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the salted caramel pancake, which was nothing short of heavenly. The pancake was impeccably soft and fluffy, and the balance of salt and caramel was absolutely sublime. To top it all off, the service was exemplary. The staff was courteous and attentive, making the ordering process smooth and enjoyable despite the language barrier.
Thank you, Espresso D Works, for an unforgettable dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and look forward to...
Read moreSpacey place with a take-out and eat-in section. It seems popular in weekends and during peak times as it has a specific ticket seat reservation system. The music is a bit too loud for my liking but not to a point where it is hard to talk - I am sensitive.
The personnel is really nice, friendly. There is a service style there that makes you feel welcome and enjoy your time, from the moment you enter. I loved this. The service is good, they provide menu suggestions if you ask and do not simply apologize for not having something.
Took caramel tea which they served with milk of requested. Usually not into sweet flavors, but this was a nicely flavored one. The food looks nice,...
Read moreIt used to be a coffee shop Mitaru, but after the renovation it became a cafe (the owner is the same I guess, as they still serve their Mitaru coffee). The style of the interior is almost the same but the sofas became much more comfortable. I love them! Now you can spend long time here without any tiredness in your back. The menu includes more dishes to choose now, and the food looks stylish, and it tastes good too (I loved the grilled chicken). It became more populated now then it used to be in time of being a coffee shop, and the music became a little louder, so the atmosphere has changed a little, but I am ok with it. The door in the toilet is a bit tricky, you should look for the letter “W” on the bookshelves (or just ask the stuff where...
