Ingrid's is a lovely, diverse, and all-inclusive oasis in Tokushima! I highly recommend this bar. Upon first going there alone, the owner (Ingrid) made me feel comfortable, ease any shyness, and have a good time. She is also multi-lingual and a great person. We have become friends and she has even helped me meet other people because I live in the countryside. There is free karaoke, low-priced drinks, and events such as open mic nights, dance parties, holiday parties, even a goth night! It is a great place to meet people from Japan and all over the world. If you are here for a night or longer, you wouldnt want to miss out on this great bar!The owner is a beautiful, lovely and kind lady. You can talk to her about anything! And if you have a group of friends she even let's you choose the music without any other customers around obviously. You really never know what's going on in there each night: sometimes spanish-salsa dance or karaoke sessions or girls night out with all the old chick-flick music. Ingrid does an amazing job and her bar is really the only place in town for the English speaking crowd. It's a great atmosphere and a great place to meet people. As others have said, whether you live here or are visiting Tokushima for the first time, Ingrid's is the place to go to meet people and find out what there is to do in town. She's a wonderful person with a heart of gold and Tokushima simply wouldn't be the same...
