Senryo Sushi — Restaurant in Tokushima

This is a quaint little restaurant in a quiet neighbood with amazing service and food! It's run by a elderly couple who were friendly and made conversation with us, asking about our trip so far and recommended other sightseeing spots to visit.

Superb hospitality aside, the food was also amazing. I ordered their ¥3000 omakase and it was great! It came with free soup and tea as well. They basically made sure that we were well taken care of. Highly recommend to stop by here if you are in the area. Might even be worth travelling to eat here...

Wonderful sushi restaurant operates by an elderly couple. If you are looking for a good local restaurant that’s patronised by locals themselves, this is the place. What you get is unpretentious great sushi. Selection might not be as varied as other places but it can’t get any fresher. Their hospitality is first class and if they know you are a foreigner they will request you to sign on their first book. Fantastic local restaurant and would love to visit...

The owner is truly a master. The "SUSHI" has rich "AJI" and depth, making every piece so delicious that I couldn’t stop eating. As I rememeber, the restaurant has been for 65 years and the owner is 89 years old, and his wife is 88. He showed me a picture taken with Hillary Clinton, dated 1996, when he served her.
