沖縄そば専門店 和（かず） — Restaurant in Tokyo

Absolutely the highlight of a recent trip to Hachioji. I'd meant to go there on an earlier trip, but my schedule didn't allow it. The waiter was very friendly, and helped me order. I had the stamina don, which came with a bowl of soba on the side. The flavours were amazing, and I wish now that I'd ordered large. For fun, I tried the Orion beer they serve there. I am definitely visiting this restaurant again, even if it is a bit far from my hotel. The walk itself is quite enjoyable.

I've been here several times now, most recently in May 2025 (just before they temporarily closed, apparently), and I ordered the Grilled Cheese Curry Pasta with Okinawa Soba. I'd been waiting 7 months for that plate, and it didn't disappoint. I also already know what I'll be ordering on my next visit 6...

I've eaten at this place for almost 7 years or so and it has always been my favorite!

The food here's really good, especially the okinawa soba and the goya chanpru is my favorite. Now, you may think that goya is hard to challenge eating because of the bitterness it has, but the chef here cookes it so well that the bitterness goes away and only the umami stays in the dish. The soba is unlike any other soba around here. The dashi used in the soup is so exquisite, no other okinawa soba tastes this good.

Eating at this place makes you feel like you're really eating in okinawa near the beach. Also, the staffs and chef here are very friendly so i'm pretty sure you can enjoy eating your meal...

【良い点】 ・ネット上の評価 ・駐車場があるところ ・席が広々している ・スープが優しい(特別感動はないけど、飽きない味。毎日でも食べられそう) ・麺の歯応え(昔ながらの沖縄そばっぽくはないけど、自分は好き)ラーメンが好きな人はソフト麺よりこっちの方が好きだと思う ・女性店員の優しい接客。飛び抜けた笑顔や元気はなくとも丁寧で好感が持てる ・盛り付けが綺麗 ・店内がおしゃれ ・BGMと波の音が雰囲気出てる

【イマイチな点】 ・とにかく値段が高い。何か追加をしようかなと思っても、タブレットに表示される合計金額を見て手が止まる。(これが夕飯なら別に問題ない金額設定)

・値段の割に量が少ないから、ご飯やジューシーを追加できるにしても何かと高く感じてしまう。

・追加で頼んだジューシーがイマイチすぎる。味は好みがあるだろうけど、単純にご飯の品質が……。かぴかぴ、ぼそぼそ。これで300円…？

・日々のランチ利用としては利用しづらい(高いし提供時間がかかるから)、特別な日のお昼ご飯という感じ。味は毎日でも食べられそうな優しい味なのに、 休みの日の特別ご飯感。

・男性店員の愛想のない接客。というか、これは本当に接客なのか…？無表情で声も小さく、歓迎されている感じがしない。店内に入って一言目が「ご予約されてますか？」って何だろう。いらっしゃいませ！の挨拶がない飲食店って胡座をかいている感じがしてしまう。
