Summary: Absolutely delicious. Just SO good. I’ve been to hundreds of Indian restaurants, this is one of my favourites.
First of all: there are so many choices in the menu! Not just the usual curries you find everywhere, but a wide variety, and spicier ones as well. AND the other dishes too! We got the 3 kinds of curry set, the cheese naan with 2 kinds of curry set, and the Masala Dosa & Sambar Set. The south Indian Chicken curry and the keema tomato curry were just on another level. They were not the usual Japanized curries you may easily find in regular Indian restaurants in Tokyo, they had so much flavour, texture, spices, the taste of all the ingredients were so well balanced and just so delicious. We also tried their special spicier curries (N.26 and N.27), and I’m SO glad we did. So much flavour, so much more complex than the usual curries. You should definitely try them! And although they have the highest spicy level, they weren’t that spicy, totally doable! So go for it!!
The naan… ahh so fluffy! And it stayed fluffy even when it got cold! Their cheese naan is by far the best cheese naan I’ve ever had: you don’t get tired of it because it’s not oily, there is not too much cheese, and protagonist is the extremely fluffy naan itself; the cheese is needed to enrich the naan, but it’s not overpowering at all! Every bite took me to heaven. The masala dosa was also sooo good. It felt healthy and not heavy at all. The filling was so nice and soft and “potatoey” 😂
It’s so important to mention how reasonable the prices are: you would not expect to pay so little for this high quality Indian food.
The staff: very nice! And of course you can speak English to them. I made sure to tell the man at the cashier that my meal was delicious, I could tell he had a warm smile even while wearing a mask.
I hope they will never close 🥺
We go around Tokyo/Kanagawa to spot the best restaurants and cafes and post them on our Instagram profile, so feel free to have a look if you’re interested:...
Read moreMe and my dad are addicted to this place! We definitely can't finish a week without feeling the joy eating there! Every single dish they make is mind blowingly delicious and also cheap! We live near this place so we get to visit there quite often. We've tried so many dishes at this place and some of my favorites are Lamb Biryani, Hyderabadi Ginger Masala Lamb, Shahi Masala. Of course you can go with basics such as like Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani they taste amazing as well. None of their dish costs over 1,000 yen so this place is not only good for your taste buds but also your wallet! If you're visiting Aeon Mall Tamadaira food court, don't go anywhere else but Anas Dosa Biryani! Just try!! You...
Read moreFantastic Indian dishes, run by real Indian guys. Authentic, reasonable price, large volume and above all, taste great. Always order mutton briyani, which comes with Yoghurt as sides (pretty rare to see in Japan) and a choice of drink like lassi. Been repeating my visit and enjoying their food. Unlike those run by Bangladeshee or Nepalese (nothing against them, though), real Indian food have powerful and fragrant kick to the dish, which is what you can expect from this store. Good recommendation if you are into...
