Recently opened in Kichijoji, Bistrante Shaft is a charming bistro which offers great value lunch sets and warm hospitality. 👨🏻‍🍳

Located on the 3rd floor of a brand new building it is like a hidden treasure for those who are lucky enough to experience it. 👑

Visiting on the weekend after they just opened, I dropped in for a late lunch. Busy with customers and a bit short on staff, we had to wait a few minutes until being shown to our table. ⏱

With a choice of pasta, risotto, or meat dishes, I decided to go for the whole course menu in order to try as many dishes as possible. 😆

Run by 2 co-owners, the chef takes care of the cooking, plating of the food, while the bartender manages the hall area and attends to the customers with heart-felt hospitality. 💖

Appetizers included mini croissant, pork rillettes, smoked squid & carrot râpée. Soup was a potage of new onions & turnip, while I chose a main of chicken galantine in cream of mushroom sauce. Dessert was a basque cheesecake together with herb tea. 😋

For this price, the presentation, attention to detail, taste and volume were great value. 👌🏼

With a well-lit, modern interior, quality food and good service I'm confident that that this will be become a popular place among the super competitive restaurant scene in Kichijoji. 🧐

I would suggest visiting on weekdays when it is relatively less crowded but recommend checking it out! 👍🏼

トレーナー3人でお伺いしました！ 食事は、素晴らしかったです。 まず、店内の雰囲気がとても落ち着いており、ゆっくりと食事を楽しむには最適な空間です。 シンプルで完成されたインテリアは、リラックスできる雰囲気を醸し出しており、忙しい日常から少し離れた気分になれました。 スタッフの方々の対応も非常に丁寧で、温かいおもてなしを感じることができました。

そして、料理は 一皿一皿が丁寧に付けられ、見た目から食欲をそそられます。 私が選んだランチプレートは、新鮮な野菜が彩りよく盛り付けられていました。またメインの鶏肉は、ジューシーでとても柔らかく、特製のソースごとが絶妙に絡み合い、味わい深さを増していました。 ソースの風味が鶏肉と見事に調和しており、一口食べるとその美味しさが広がります。

さらに、合わせの大根やきゅうりの炒め物は食感がシャキシャキとしており、油っこくなく、全体的にヘルシーな印象を与えてくれます。 特にピリッとしたスパイシーさがアクセントとなり、鶏肉の可愛さと絶妙なバランスを保っています。 ランチとしては、栄養バランスも非常に良く、食べた後の満足感がとてもありました！

さらに、スタッフのかたが 料理の説明を丁寧にしてくれただけでなく、食材の特徴やその調理方法についてもご説明していただけたのでとても楽しめました＾＾

幼児と夫と義両親で来店しました。 電話で予約した際、ランチタイム(12:00)は予約できないが、その前後ならOKということで11:00の予約をしました。

お料理はお値段(1500円)に対してとても満足でした。遠方に足を運んでくれた両親も喜んでいて、通りの雰囲気も含めて、吉祥寺って素敵な街、と言っていました。

子ども用のカトラリーは小さい銀のフォーク、スプーンを用意いただきました。こだわりがある方は持っていく方が良いかもしれません。 キッズメニューはないですが、うちの子は麺類が大好きで、夫のパスタをもらったり、バゲットをつまんだり、りんごジュースをのんだりしていました。 パスタを食べている時は麺を細かく食べやすくできる器具(?)を貸していただき、子どもも楽しそうに食べていました。

立地的にも子ども連れがメインの客層ではないかと思うのですが、それでも明るく楽しく親切に接していただき、ありがたかったです。(子どもはウェイターの方にずっと手を振っていて、また振り返していただきました。和やかな雰囲気になりました☺️)
