In all my time of living in Japan, I never thought I’d find a breakfast spot which mirrors the community vibes of American diners and brunch spots back at home. Truly a special place run by a couple where it seems like everyone who dines here are treated like guests in their home.
The blueberry French toast with cream cheese was superb and possibly some of the best French toast I’ve had period. Price was high, but well worth it. Food came out quickly and although the service was a bit frenzied at times, I sincerely appreciated the hustle.
I was sadly disappointed by the quiche which was possibly microwaved and very cold in the middle. They also only accept cash only so I was happy that I carried some bills today.

Read moreOk. This might be the best french toast 🇫🇷🍞🧈🍁 I've had in Japan. The caramel was sold out, I was sad but I guess it's the most popular so you should order it if it's available. I got the premium which has syrup, powdered sugar and ice cream. So good. Comes with coffee.
The family who runs this place is so sweet, helpful and they have an English menu. If you're around this area for some reason, definitely pop in for some french toast, the service is quick.

A quick tip for fellow French toast lovers: if a place serves it with American bread, that's usually a red flag, a certainly not a French toast.
French toast should be made with baguette—nothing else. This spot gets it right, using a softer baguette than the traditional hard version, but the result is still one of the best I’ve had in Japan.
