I wish I could give 0 stars?!?! The moment we stepped inside of the restaurant we got a very rude response from the cashier to register our details before sitting down. After trying to sit down again in a way without smiling and customer care she rudely directed us to another table. Since the waiting time is long we decided to grab some magazines and read them and again we were told not to put the books back without telling them since they want to clean them up first. Were are also supposed to put our masks in a plastic bag and the waiter was acting like we were the virus itself, keeping big distance to us and a shield in front of her face. It is understandable due to the current conditions but she could’ve said in a long polite way. The food plates were put in the other side of the table so we had to lean far away in order to put them in front of us. On top the prices are quite high, wouldn’t recommend to come here...
Read moreFirst of all, I’m Italian. I’ve been in this restaurant many years ago (I think was 2015) completely by chance, but I still remember the experience as THE BEST DISH OF SPAGHETTI I HAD IN MY LIFE. The crab spaghetti were simply astonishing.
I still tell to my friends how absurd is for an Italian to find the best dish of spaghetti of his life in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, but I will never forget...
Read more八丈島の飲食店でおそらく最もコロナ感染対策をしているだろうお店だった。 2人で入って横並びの席も空いていたが、わざわざテーブル席で、横並びではなくてあえて斜めに座るように指示されて、ビニールのシートで区切る席並びにさせられた…。。。 メニュー運び、料理運ぶときも、終始嫌そうで、(確かに島外民なので負い目はあったけど)ここまでばい菌扱いされると思わなかった…(泣) 後から赤ちゃん連れの方が来店されたが、赤ちゃんにマスクがないことに対して厳しめに対応されていて、マスクの着用を強要していた(呼吸出来なくて危険なんじゃ…?)。 終始、食事をしにくる人にとっては不快な空間だった。 衛生管理を徹底されてる姿勢なので、しょうがないとは思うので、「ちゃんとした衛生管理が嫌な人」はテイクアウトなどで店内で食事しないことを強く薦めたい。 恐らくお店の人にとっても、(給仕が嫌そうだったので)店内で食べてほしくないという気持ちに見えた。
