Caffe Locasa was a delightful find, located next to Roka Koen, a great place to stop after a morning walk through the park. The Soy Latte was the best I've had since coming to Japan a couple months ago. You can tell the coffee beans used are of high quality and the barista knows how to pull quality shots. My wife's ice latte came in a glass, not plastic, cup. It's evident the owner cares about coffee and details. The atmosphere inside is cozy but roomy, not overly crowded.
I've struggled to find the this level of coffee and this is the first I've found in a shop open before 10am; the cafe opens at 7am. At that time you are mostly limited to large chains, Starbucks, Doutor et al.
