Hirai Coffee — Restaurant in Tokyo

We have been visiting Tokyo from America for two weeks and so far, this is our favorite coffee spot! I had an almond milk iced latte and it was the best coffee I’ve had on the trip! The Berry French toast was also amazing. But our favorite part was the hospitality. Despite us sadly not knowing much Japanese, the owner (I’m guessing it was) made us feel so welcome! We hope to come back before we go home!

Picked the simple French toast. It comes with syrup and salt too. Interesting combo

The French toast was pretty sweet on its own so didn’t really need syrup 😙

This is the best coffee in Hirai. This is also the only coffee shop I went to in Hirai. There are a good variety of single origin coffees, and the French toast was excellent; soft on the inside with a gentle outer crust. Our order took some time to come out as there was one person running the bar, although the wait was very much worth it. The atmosphere was very quaint and homely, perfect for a relaxing breakfast.
