Kona’s Coffee Adachi — Restaurant in Tokyo

Ambience is great, especially for Adachi! Hidden gem.

Food is delicious with fair prices. Coffee prices are average with above average coffee quality/taste! I’ll usually have the Caesar Salad with Pancakes or Honey Mustard Fried Chicken with pancakes (this can get a bit sloppy). My all time favorite item in the menu is definitely the Açaí bowl! I always order this after my pancakes and would highly encourage them to consider moving this out of the dessert section and into its own category as I think it’s highly underrated.

If you are going as a couple, try to get the seats facing the window on the first floor. Just feels a bit more relaxing. Also, get there early as it’s common for there to be a 20-30min queue on the weekends. Would also encourage management to hire more staff to keep up...

They were somehow out of stock of hamburgers, but were not forthcoming about this until after we tried to order. Ending up ordering chicken and pancakes, which actually had a good taste, but they brought the smallest amount of sauce, and zero butter for the pancakes. Had to request butter for pancakes and they brought the tiniest portion possible. Obviously had to request more butter and the manager had the audacity to say he would have to charge for more butter. This is a pancake cafe, and they don’t provide butter, it’s quite unbelievable honestly. The manager was rude and shows a complete lack of understanding proper customer service. I've visited Kona Coffee in Adachi-ku a couple of times, and each visit has been a delightful experience. The atmosphere is excellent; as soon as you enter the cafe, you'll feel like you've been transported to Hawaii. The interior design truly screams "Aloha!"

The food here is really good, and the portions are generous. I highly recommend trying the burger—it's incredibly tasty. Classic Pancakes, Honey Mustard Mochiko Chicken, Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad & Pancakes, Chips & Guacamole all so good!

Of course, you can't leave without trying their coffee. It's top-notch and worth every sip. But if you're not a coffee drinker, I suggest ordering the acai smoothie. In my opinion, it's one of the best acai...
