Maruzen 46 — Restaurant in Tokyo

A long wait until I wandered back into the neighborhood, but it's open this time. Easy to say about a dozen seats, but hard to describe the atmosphere. I guess it's a building with a long history, but maybe it was a used bookstore from the beginning? Main concentration of books is in a kind of foyer at the front. At least one section of DVDs, too. Only English I spotted was some little miniature movie posters. I think she told me you can get a Wi-Fi signal if you sit in the front, but they don't have their own. Pretty good menu considering how small the kitchen looks.

I enjoyed both the cookie and the coffee and will call it a high four stars.

Calling a speculative low four stars and blaming Google Maps for not knowing that it was closed today. And again, for the picture, it seems I have kind of an irregular schedule. Turned out okay, because the little shop just to the right also sells coffee. As regards this place, they have a bunch of manga and little front room and a menu for some foods that they also serve.

Looks to me like Google Maps should send them a monthly email asking about the schedule of when...
